Flexible Care When Your Family Needs It Most
Temporary nanny care provides dependable, short-term support during busy seasons, transitions, or unexpected changes. Whether you need coverage for a few weeks or a few months, we thoughtfully match families with caregivers who step in seamlessly and keep your household running smoothly.
Our Approach
Temporary care doesn’t mean temporary quality. We approach short-term placements with the same level of thoughtfulness and care as long-term matches. Our goal is to provide families with reliable, professional support that brings immediate relief while maintaining consistency and stability for children.
Even short-term caregivers become part of your village, offering support exactly when it’s needed most.
What Does a Temp Nanny Do?
Temporary nannies provide attentive childcare while helping families navigate busy or transitional periods. This may include:
• Short-term childcare coverage
• Schedule transitions or gap coverage
• Travel or seasonal support
• Backup care during family or caregiver leave
• Maintaining routines and daily structure for children
Temporary placements are designed to feel smooth and supportive, allowing families to focus on what matters most during times of change.
Investing in Flexible Support
A temporary nanny is still a professional caregiving role. Clear expectations and fair compensation help ensure caregivers can step in confidently and provide consistent, high-quality care from day one.
Temporary nanny positions typically include:
• Guaranteed agreed-upon hours for the duration of the placement
• Competitive hourly pay aligned with current Pittsburgh-area market standards
• Clear expectations and communication, especially around schedule and duration
• Respect for established routines, helping children feel secure during transitions
• Prorated PTO based on the duration of placement + Sick leave
We guide families through current market standards and best practices to ensure temporary placements are smooth, supportive, and successful for everyone involved.
Support When You Need It Most
Life doesn’t always follow a perfect schedule — and that’s okay. Temporary care allows families to stay supported during busy seasons, transitions, or unexpected changes, without sacrificing quality or peace of mind.
We’re here to help you find trusted support, exactly when you need it.
