Meet Hannah
Co-Founder, The Village Care Co
I co-founded The Village Care Co after several years working as a professional nanny and household assistant. Being inside families’ homes every day gave me a firsthand understanding of how much the right support can transform the rhythm of a household. I learned quickly that successful placements aren’t just about experience or schedules — they’re about trust, communication, and genuine alignment.
Because I’ve worked in the field myself, I understand both sides of this relationship. I advocate deeply for families who need reliable, thoughtful support, and equally for caregivers who deserve to feel respected and valued in their roles. That perspective helps me ask better questions, spot potential challenges early, and create placements where everyone feels confident and set up for long-term success.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and family, being outdoors, gardening, and decorating! I love to create spaces that feel warm and welcoming, and that same mindset carries into this work — helping families build a village that feels steady, supportive, and truly their own.
Meet McKenna
Co-Founder, The Village Care Co
I co-founded The Village Care Co after many years of working professionally with children and families, though my care journey started long ago, babysitting since I was ten years old. Caring for children and families has always been second nature to me, and over time it grew into a deeply intentional calling.
I’ve had the privilege of working closely with families in all seasons of life. Being welcomed into people’s homes has given me a thoughtful understanding of what helps relationships truly thrive: trust, communication, shared values, and mutual respect. I approach this work with a nurturing, organized, and creative mindset, always valuing clear communication and genuine relationships.
Outside of work, I love traveling, gardening, creating things by sewing or painting, hosting loved ones, thrifting, and spending time outdoors. I believe in building spaces that feel loving and steady, and I carry that same heart into helping families build a care system they can count on.
