Finding the right caregiver takes time, experience, and careful screening — and for busy families, it can quickly become overwhelming. As professional nannies and household support providers ourselves, we understand firsthand what makes a caregiver truly successful in a home. We know how to recognize strong experience, professionalism, and personality fit beyond what can be seen on a resume alone.
Working with an agency allows families to focus less on searching, screening, and uncertainty, and more on their children and daily life. We handle the thoughtful matching process so you can move forward with confidence, knowing the caregivers you meet have already been carefully considered with your family in mind.
Working with an agency provides:
• Thorough candidate vetting and reference checks
• Structured matching based on personality, values, and experience
• Guidance on market rates and professional standards

Every search is different, as our goal is always to find the right fit for both your family and the caregiver — and thoughtful matching can take time. That said, we work with many experienced, professional nannies who are actively seeking positions, and placements can often happen more quickly depending on timing, schedule, and role expectations. Typically the process takes between 2-6 weeks!

Our process starts by personally reviewing each candidate’s application and seeing if they meet these minimum requirements:
Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle
Legally authorized to work in the United States
At least 20 years of age
Non-smoker
Willingness to complete required background, driving, social media and reference checks
Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience
At least two professional references
Ability to make a minimum one-year commitment for long-term positions
Current CPR & First Aid certification, or willingness to complete certification prior to starting a role
(For Pittsburgh Placements) PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Fingerprinting
If they meet these requirements, we then personally interview each candidate and learn about their personality, experience, qualifications, and ideal job.
If we decide they are a good fit for our agency and potentially your family, we will check references, social media, etc. before presenting them to you.
Once you decide who you’d like to hire, we then will conduct a thorough background and driving check before sending the job offer.

While we take great care in creating thoughtful matches, we understand that sometimes circumstances change or unforeseen factors arise.
For long-term (minimum 1 year) placements, we offer a 90-day replacement guarantee. If a placement ends within the first 90 days, we will conduct one replacement search at no additional placement fee.
Temporary and contract-based placements, including night nanny and newborn care specialist roles, are not eligible for replacement guarantees due to their short-term or defined contract nature.
Our goal is always to support both families and caregivers in creating sustainable, successful placements — and we remain available for guidance throughout the transition.
