A warm, welcoming family in Mars is seeking a thoughtful, engaging nanny to join them in a special season of life as they raise their toddler and prepare to welcome a new baby this fall.

About the family:

This is the kind of family nannies hope to find.

Warm, easygoing, and incredibly welcoming, this Mars family is entering such a special season- soaking up life with their sweet, spirited 2-year-old while preparing to welcome a new baby this fall.

Their home is rooted in connection, intention, and truly enjoying the day-to-day moments of raising their toddler. They love spending time outside, hosting friends and family, and creating a calm, happy environment where everyone feels at home.

They are looking for a nanny who doesn’t just work in their home, but becomes a natural, trusted part of it- someone who fits seamlessly into their rhythm and genuinely enjoys being part of a family.

The Role:

This role will primarily focus on their toddler, with responsibilities naturally expanding once the baby arrives.

The days are meant to feel engaging, balanced, and full of intention- think outings to the park, indoor playground or library, play-based learning, crafts, and lots of time spent exploring and enjoying the world through a toddler’s eyes. They also have a pool, so being comfortable around water is a plus!

You’ll be trusted to take the lead on the day, creating a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility while supporting routines like naps and potty training.

Light child-related tasks are appreciated as needed, such as children's laundry, tidying play areas, cleaning up/light sweeping after meals, and washing children's dishes and bottles- but the heart of this role is truly being present, engaged, and connected.

Ideal Candidate:

This family is looking for someone who truly loves this stage of life.

Someone who is confident caring for both toddlers and infants, enjoys planning outings, and supports development through play and engaging activities. A nanny who values connection, communicates with kindness, and approaches discipline with respect and intention.

You'll do especially well in this role if you are easygoing, fun, thoughtful, and naturally bring a calm, positive presence into the home.

Additional Details:

Mom works from home in a separate office space and is very respectful of the nanny's role, while still being available if needed.

Outings, outdoor play, and developmentally appropriate activities are highly encouraged, and the family fully supports an active, engaging routine.

A vehicle can be provided for outings, or you may use your own (with car seats provided and mileage reimbursed at the standard IRS rate).

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • At least 20 years of age

  • Non-smoker

  • Willingness to complete required background, driving, social media, and reference checks

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience (after age 18)

  • At least two professional references

  • Ability to make a minimum one-year commitment

  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification

  • PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances

  • Toddler and Infant experience
